Are You a Good Communicator?

Sometimes actions speak louder than words, especially for children and animals. Try speaking to a “bird.” It is important to communicate in the benefit of safety and creating an advantage to those who do not want to hear what you have to say. Start with a little more love and JOY. Both open the gateway of communication that builds each of you up.

BEING HEARD

The dog and the cat were in romping about
As I came home from work late one day.
The sliding back door was left open a twit
So they could go freely out some and play.

Well, a bird had flown in and was up on the shelf.
Avoiding the noise that was brought to himself.
This was such a sight so I hastened to take
The dog and the cat out to give him a break.
The bird was so rattled and frantically stressed
I showed him the way out and gave him my best.

But the bird could not get my intent to proceed
And deliver his freedom by following my lead.
How could I speak gently to this dear little bird?
I might just have to be one, on order to be heard?
